Oil such as walnut oil or a body oil, or just any good smelling optionally oil with vitamin e
1. Take equal amounts of coffee and sugar. You can choose either to make a large portion or just for one scrub session, in this case you need about 3.5 ounce from each.
2. Mix the coffee and sugar well with each other, and slowly add the oil. Do not use too much oil!
3. The scrub is now ready for use! For the best effect, make your skin thoroughly wet in the shower and then take extended time to massage the scrub for your buns.
Using circular motions towards your heart, massage your legs, thighs and so on. Give problem areas such as your cheeks and hips some extra attention. Rinse the scrub thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry the skin. A lotion is probably not necessary, because of the oil in the scrub!
How it works?
Coffee contains caffeine, a substance commonly used in cosmetics to reduce puffiness as well as cellulite: it would help the fat cells break down and prevents water retention. In addition, coffee also contains antioxidants.
The rough cane sugar creates a nice sturdy scrub, which stimulates blood circulation. (The scrub is not suited for the face!)
The oil makes the coffee and sugar a smooth substance and ensures that your skin is nourished and soft.
Don’t you like the smell of coffee on your skin? Then add a few drops of an essential oil such as vanilla or lavender. Keep the scrub airtight in a cool, dark place.
